Well we already knew she was going to be a girl; at 12:44 AM PDT it was 100% confirmed. Leanna Noelle Rainwater weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and had a full head of dark brown hair, (just like her mommy).

Isn’t she just sooooooooooooo freaking adorable?
Labor was loooooooooooooong; just about 24 hours long. My wife woke me up at 1:30 AM Friday morning to let me know that her water broke. We called Kaiser and were told to come in as soon as we could. My wife was formally admitted in at 2 AM and thats when the waiting game began.
It was a rollercoaster of a ride for me being the sole support/coach. There were highs and lows (at one point we tried a pain medication that ended up emotionally draining my wife) but 21 hours and an epidural later she entered transition, (This is generally where an exorcist is needed, but with an epidural, my wife was a pro =) and the pushing began.
We’re beaming with pride and I’m exceptionally proud and impressed with my wife. She was a trooper throughout. Now I have 2 special women in my life.
